Brevard County Fire Station 40, N. Merritt Island
North Merritt Island will soon have a brand new fire station, built by W+J Construction — Brevard County Fire-Rescue Station #40 in its new location at 4615 N. Courtenay Pkwy. This state-of-the-art facility is a one-story building with a total area of 6,598 square feet and includes two apparatus bays, a physical agility/training room, and a day room. The design also includes essential amenities such as a kitchen, dining area, bunk room, restrooms, and various equipment and utility support spaces. This fire station has been designed to better house and equip its firefighters, so they may provide “best in class” protection of life and property to both residents and visitors.
