Titusville Air Traffic Control Tower

The project entails the demolition and replacement of the Air Traffic Control Tower (ATCT) at Space Coast Regional Airport in Titusville, Florida. This undertaking includes the construction of a new six-story structure standing 93-feet tall consisting of 5 stories of pre-cast concrete with hollow core plank floors, and the 6th story being a steel cab. Dura-Stress, Inc. fabricated the concrete panels in Leesburg, FL and then trailered them to the site and set them with a crane. Industrial Steel, LLC from Titusville, FL is fabricating the sixth floor cab on the ground and then will set the whole cab on top of the pre-cast structure.

This project involves comprehensive site work such as paving, grading, drainage, trenching, and the installation of conduits, conductors, and vaults. Additionally, the project involves a minimal amount of directional boring, earthwork, and sodding.
