Evelyn Lopez joined W+J Construction as a Staff Accountant in 2026, bringing with her eight years of experience in the construction industry, primarily in roofing. Born in Puerto Rico and raised between Puerto Rico and Boston, Massachusetts, Evelyn offers a diverse background and strong work ethic to her role. She supports the accounting team with invoicing, payment applications, and other essential financial tasks, drawing on her prior experience in roofing administration, permitting, and accounting.
Before transitioning into construction, Evelyn earned a medical sonography diploma in 2017 and holds a HIPAA certification, reflecting her attention to detail and commitment to professional standards.
Evelyn enjoys spending quality time with her husband and son, often relaxing at the beach or discovering new places. She is actively involved in her church community, Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church in Palm Bay. A passionate home cook and baker, Evelyn especially loves preparing meals and desserts for her family during the holidays. Her cat, Isabella, is a valued member of their household.
