A Brevard County native, Brandon Mays serves as an Assistant Estimator at W+J Construction. He’s a West Point–educated operations leader with battalion-level experience managing schedules, teams, logistics, and safety across multi-domain environments. He earned his Bachelor of Science in International Affairs with a civil engineering track from the United States Military Academy in 2023. Brandon served with the 10th Mountain Division at Fort Drum, where he worked in the operations cell, resulting in a proven ability to coordinate teams, resources, and timelines under pressure.

In his current role, Brandon supports the preconstruction team by performing quantity takeoffs, analyzing project blueprints, gathering vendor quotes, and compiling the necessary data to help prepare accurate, competitive construction bids.

Outside of work, he mentors with the Palm Bay High School football team and is active at St. Luke’s Catholic Church in Grant. Brandon and his wife, Haley, have two young daughters and a chocolate lab named Moose, and they enjoy cooking together as a family — especially homemade pasta on Sundays.
